Harlow is an orphan from Vancouver Island, and that is about as much information you will ever get out of her when it comes to her life before she moved to Caroline. This girl is extremely secretive and if you were to tell her something in confidence she'd probably take it to the grave, no questions asked. She isn't the type of person to gossip or dive too hard into people's life because she's scared of them trying to do the same to her. If you consider her a friend chances are she wouldn't consider you as such until she started to warm up to you. She is open to the idea of friendship as long as any discussion of her past remains untouched. Unfortunately once she starts getting close to a person she starts to back off.

Because of her lack of sense of humor a lot of people find her hard to get along with or else constantly are trying to bring a smile to her face that doesn't seem so forced. The most anyone can get out of her is a simple "ha" and occasionally, if you are lucky, you will get a mere chuckle but don't count too much on it. Anyone who may become her "ex" in Caroline generally starts to dislike her because of her strange off-set nature. She doesn't try to be rude, if anything she is too polite when people actually want to fight for her because she acts like she has already given up on any battles that they might of had.

Harlow is bi-sexual but she actually can't see herself getting married or staying in a long term relationship with a female. Any long term relationship would probably exist with a male although she is still extremely interested in having relationships with females because of their beauty and how fascinating they can be. She does find herself actually interested in people but always gets scared that they will find something out about her and freak out. Her biggest fear is that they will learn of her rape and her abandoning her son thus they instantly reject her because of the matter. She wants to meet someone real, someone that she could maybe legitimately fall in love with. She keeps on trying but then starts to give up. Really, she needs someone that will work so hard for her that she couldn't even bring herself to give up on.

Okay, so we already discussed these two will have a plot of SOME KIND, we just didn't specify what really. So I though I'd make it all official like. All we have really is if they were put into a room together, they'd just glance awkwardly and then continue their business. But eventually, they'd talk, probably about something completely arbitrary. Oh and the battle of the wits, when they start talking about each others lives and fighting to have the conversation focus on the other. I can see after a while though, them kinda sharing more and more with one another, because they're both fucked up. They'd trust one another, and just have late night talks. Nathan would probably have fluttery feelings for her, because she'd remind him of Jak. They could even date, but it wouldn't last long at all. So...fucked up but trusting friends in like five years? Haha. Add/Subtract/Delete?

YES.YES.YES.YES. Haha. I was definitely thinking a lot about how Harlow is a lot like Nathan's new Jak, minus the fact that Jak was far too trusting in everyone and Harlow is trusting of no one which is what will make these two's plot super special together. He would certainly be the first person that she'd be okay talking to especially once they started talking. Like i could see her getting really emotional and practically throwing herself onto Nathan's shoulder when the topic of her son comes up. Somehow from there i DEFINITELY see them dating, thinking that there is some sort of romantic connection between them but once they do start dating they'd probably realize that there isn't really any spark between them just a great bonding friendship with their secrets. Either one of them would probably call it off eventually being like "this is weird" and then have to readjust to being just super close friends and what not. I'm sure after that there will probably be more ideas that will form as we RP them and such too [:

So! Both of them have pretty screwed up pasts including kids born during their teenage years as a result of rape. Not that that means anything to them, necessarily, but I just thought it was interesting. I kinda could see her having a crush on him but I don't know that much could come of that. Honestly though, I feel like if there was ever someone that he would just completely spill his life story to, it could be her. Is there any way that could happen? Like, maybe she's having a really bad day and he happens to be there and they sort of just tell each other what they've each been through respectively and then never speak again or something. It's sort of out of character for both of them, but that's what relationships do to people, I guess.

I can already see how that thread would play in my mind. It would ev something like they'd randomly run into each other on the street sort of thing where Harlow was all flustered because maybe she got a nerve racking phone call about someone needing to do a background check on her for a modeling job or something and all she can think about is all the documentation leading back to her child, thus she would be on edge, so as she would be walking full of anger and violently run into Xzuun or something. Somehow out of that her overly calm, composed self would probably just break. I could legitimately see her breaking down crying because she ran into this stranger and things building up on her and she'd just start spilling all these things to this guy and eventually they would both share each other's stories and i can certainly see her having a slight crush on him for all of this.

I can see her trying to avoid him because he just genuinely likes people so he'd want to be friends with her and I can see her being uncomfortable with that kind of attention. Do you have any better ideas? XP
